About our facilities


The Department of Mineral Resources contains the latest research and teaching laboratory equipment that specializes in rock cutting, analysis Elements, Raman apparatus, radioisotope determination apparatus, quantitative chemical composition study of minerals, preparation of slide samples vitreous for microscopic studies, studying the mineral composition of rocks, separating minerals, and many advanced devices that serve students and researchers alike.


X-ray Fluorescence (XRF)
