Furnishing and qualification of well-experienced Saudi geologists to deal technically with rocks and mineral deposits. This includes improvements of their skills to construct geologic maps, exploration & evaluation of ore deposits, and microscopy.

Conducting academic and applied researches that meet the needs of the Society.

Participation in training courses in the field of mineral resources and rocks in order to keep abreast of new developments in the field of mineral deposits and the environment.

Offering technical assistance and consultations to organizations, companies, and citizens
